Tech Talent Strategy
Canada Launched its first-ever Tech Talent Strategy. This strategy is aimed at helping Canadian businesses with top-notch young STEM graduates already working in the United States on H1B visas.
This strategy offers:
- 3 years Open work permit to selected applicants enabling them to apply for Canadian Permanent Residence with one year of Canadian Experience.
- Open work and/or study permit for spouse and dependent children
Applicants will be required to have a job offer from Government Identified employers or who will fall into select in-demand occupations.
Work Permit Processing Time: 14 days
Program duration: 1 year or when 10,000 applications are received.
