Performing Artists
Foreign nationals / artists / film makers etc who want to come to Canada to perform at one or more locations are given an LMIA exempt work permit.
They require a job offer from the company in Canada which is to be considered as Employer.
The employer is required to pay an employer compliance fee.
The work permit is valid for the duration of job offer. If there is no date on job offer, the work permit is for two years or upto validity of passport, whichever is earlier.
